Nessa

Nessa joined the team as a Client Service Representative (CSR) in January 2024 and is a Chicago native. She has a wealth of experience in pet care, having worked as a groomer at a pet store, a pet care lead, and a shift supervisor at various pet stores. Currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician program, Nessa is eager to continue her veterinary journey.

Nessa has a passion for birds, particularly parrots, and was thrilled to finally meet her favorite, the Eclectus, while working here. She enjoys working alongside her teammates and is also a proud pet parent to Zuko the budgie (who speaks and throws tantrums for treats), Poe and Rico (budgies who’ve mastered the stink eye for treats), and Freyja and Floki (cockatiels who are self-proclaimed drama queens). She also has a dog named Cricket, who bears a striking resemblance to Dobby the House-Elf from Harry Potter.

At home, Nessa tends to over 25 plants, enjoys watching crime documentaries, and loves to relax by knitting and crocheting.
