Vanessa

Vanessa joined Duke Animal Hospital in 2022 as a Ward Assistant, and worked on training up to become a Technician Assistant. She holds an undergraduate degree in ecology and environmental science and is currently enrolled in the veterinary technician program through Penn Foster. Vanessa plans to continue her career path toward becoming a veterinarian.

As a hands-on learner, she has found mentorship among the staff to help her further develop her skills. Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys anime and comic books, and she is currently fostering two spunky cats at home.
